First take home exercise
一、建構一個 C2H4 分子,並且放入一個超晶胞中。
1. Build a C2H4 molecule, and put it in a supercell box.
二、建立一個 正十二面體 C20 立體球模型。
2. Build a 12 face polygon (dodecahedron) C20 model.
三、將 Si 的晶胞模型改顯示為近者大遠者小的方式。
3. Change viewing style of a Si crystal model so that the near looks large and the far looks small.
四、建立一個無限長度延伸的、 (6, 6) 碳奈米管模型,置於超晶胞中,確保與旁邊的週期性影像相距 10 Ang. 以上。
4. Build an infinite long single (6,6) carbon nanotube in a supercell, make sure it is 10 Ang away from its peridic images.
五、從 ICSD (無機晶體結構資料庫) 找出 CsGeCl3 的晶體結構,並將之載入 Materials Studio 中。
5. Find the crystal structure of CsGeCl3 from ICSD, and load it into Materials Studio.
六、建立一個鎢 W 金屬 (111) 表面,厚度六個原子層以上的 slab 超晶胞模型。
6. Build a W(111) surface slab supercell model with at least 6 atomic layers.
七、建構一個內半徑 8 埃(矽),外殼層厚 6 埃(鍺)的矽鍺同心奈米球。
7. Build a core shell nano sphere with 8 Ang radius core of Si and 6 Ang thick shell of Ge.
